Is Crush Job a desktop app, and where does your data go?

Yes, it is a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux, and that's a deliberate choice. The AI work still goes to outside providers, which we spell out below. Your files and history are saved on your computer, and Cloud Data Sync is an option you turn on yourself. There's no bot sitting in your meeting.

The AI work can't happen on your own computer, though, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise: resume, job-posting and transcript text goes to Anthropic, routed through our servers, where we record usage — token counts, model names, operation labels — never the content. AssemblyAI (Crush Coach, and Mock It! by default) or Deepgram (Mock It!, if you select it) transcribe live audio; Deepgram also voices the Mock It! interviewer. Live interview audio goes from your computer straight to the transcription provider and never passes through our servers. The Privacy Policy names all of it.

The AI usage is included. There's no provider key to sign up for and no second bill — the AI runs on our accounts, and every plan carries a monthly credit allowance your usage draws from. Every action shows its cost in credits before you run it, and the caps are printed on the pricing page.
