Cancel any day. Pay only for what you use.

Most subscriptions make you pay out the rest of your term. We don't. You can leave Crush Jobon any day, and you keep the part you haven't used.

There's one rule, and it's arithmetic — not a negotiation, not a judgement call, and not something you have to email us to find out. Before you confirm anything, we show you the exact number and the working behind it.

The rule

You get back what you paid, minus the share you've used. “The share you've used” is measured two ways, and which one applies depends only on when you leave.

Your first 14 days — changed your mind?

On your first purchase, for the first 14 days, we count only what you actually ran. The time you had costs you nothing. Try it for 13 days, run nothing, and you get every penny back.

Example.You buy All Access — 90 Days for $79, which includes $153.00 of usage. On day 9 you decide it's not for you. You've run 10 resumes, 2 battle cards, 2 mock interviews and 25 minutes of Copilot — $12.50 of your included usage, which is 8.2% of it. We keep 8.2% of $79, and you get $72.55 back.

Any time after that — cancel whenever

This applies to everyone, always, on every plan. We count either the time you've had or the usage you've run — whichever is larger, never both. You are never charged twice for the same days.

Example.Same $79 pass. You cancel on day 45 of 90, having used $12.50 of usage. That's half your time but only 8.2% of your usage, so we go by time: we keep half, and you get $39.50 back.

And the other way round.Same day 45, but this time you've run $100 of usage — 65% of what your plan included, which is more than the half of the term that's passed. So we go by usage, and you get $27.37 back.

Why usage isn't refundable

Every resume, battle card, mock interview and Copilot minute costs us real money at the moment you run it. We pay for that AI whether you stay or go, so it isn't something we can un-spend. Everything else is yours.

Two things we do to keep that fair. First, we count your usage as a share of what your plan included— never at the full pay-as-you-go rate. Buying a plan gets you a discount, and that discount doesn't evaporate because you decided to leave. Second, your usage is metered live on your account page, to the cent, as you go. There is never a number you haven't already been able to see.

How to do it

Go to your account pageand choose to cancel. You'll see your refund and the arithmetic behind it before you confirm anything. Nothing happens until you press the button, and you can close the page at any point.

Refunds go back to your original payment method, and usually land within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

The specifics

• Subscriptions and 90-day passes — the rule above, exactly as written.
• The $9 Interview Day Passis a final sale. It lasts 24 hours and is fully usable the moment you buy it, so there's no change-of-mind window. If something on our end genuinely broke and you couldn't use it, email support@crushjob.aiand we'll make it right.
• Credit packsare refundable for their unused balance. If you've spent some of a pack we'll refund what's left; a fully-spent pack has nothing left to return. Refunding a pack also takes the unspent credit back out of your wallet — you get the money, not the money and the credits.
• A full refund ends your access.The whole reason we hand back unused time is that you're not going to use it — so when we refund everything you paid, your access ends along with it. That happens on our side right away. If you're running the desktop app, it catches up the next time it checks in — usually within a day, or up to a week if it's been offline.
• A partial refund doesn't change your access.You keep your plan for the rest of the term — you just also get back the part of the money you didn't use.
• Cancelling and refunding are different things.You can also just cancel future renewals and keep your access to the end of the term you've already paid for — no refund, no maths, nothing to work out.
