Do I need my own AI key? Is the AI usage billed separately?
No, and no. There's no provider key to sign up for and no second bill — Crush Job runs the AI on our own provider accounts. Every plan includes a monthly allowance of tailored resumes, cover letters, battle cards and mock interviews, and the free tier gets one too — that allowance is what your usage draws from first. Go past it and any credits you've bought cover the rest. A built-in dashboard shows what's included and what's left, and the caps are printed on the cards above.
What are credit packs, and do they expire?
Credits are extra AI usage on top of your plan — resumes, cover letters, battle cards, mocks and Copilot minutes, priced individually. Buy a pack any time, no subscription required, and it never expires. Credits kick in automatically once you've used up your plan's monthly allowance, so you're never blocked mid-task waiting for next month's reset.
What is the Early Bird price, exactly?

Is the free tier a trial that expires?
No. Free stays genuinely useful forever — three tailored resumes and three cover letters every month, an uncapped Ninja Score, and the application tracker, at no cost and with no card. Can I cancel? Is there a refund?
Cancel on any day and you keep the part you haven't used — most subscriptions make you pay out the rest of your term, and we don't. We count either the time you've had or the usage you've run, whichever is larger, never both. Your first two weeks are gentler still: we count only what you actually ran, so the time costs you nothing. You always see the exact number and the working behind it before you confirm anything. Credit packs work differently, since there's no term to prorate: we refund whatever's left unspent in the pack. See the Refunds page for worked examples.
Where does my data go?
Your files and history live on your own PC. The AI work can't happen there, though: resume and job-posting text goes to Anthropic, and live interview audio goes to AssemblyAI or Deepgram. Those requests are routed through our servers to reach the provider — we forward them and record only token counts, model names and operation labels, never the content itself. Nothing of yours is stored on our servers unless you turn on Cloud Sync. The Privacy Policy spells out exactly what goes where.
Is Get Hired Fast a subscription?
No — it's one purchase for 90 days of access. There's nothing to cancel and it won't auto-renew; when the 90 days are up, it simply ends.
