Which platforms does Crush Job run on?
Windows 10 and 11, macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon, and Linux as an AppImage on x86-64. It is the same app with the same four modules and the same plan on all three — nothing is held back on one platform, and your account works on whichever computers you install it on. Pick your platform on the download page and it hands you the right file.
Do I need my own AI key? Is the AI usage billed separately?
No, and no. There's no provider key to sign up for and no second bill — Crush Job runs the AI on our own provider accounts. Every plan includes a monthly allowance of tailored resumes, cover letters, battle cards and mock interviews, and the free tier gets one too — that allowance is what your usage draws from first. Go past it and any credits you've bought cover the rest. A built-in dashboard shows what's included and what's left, and the caps are printed on the cards above.
What are credit packs, and do they expire?
Credits are extra AI usage on top of your plan — resumes, cover letters, battle cards, mocks and Coach minutes, priced individually. Buy a pack any time, no subscription required. Credit packs are good for one year from purchase and your oldest credits are used first. Credits kick in automatically once you've used up your plan's monthly allowance. Deleting your account removes any unused credits.
What is the Early Bird price, exactly?

Is the free tier a trial that expires?

How do I cancel my plan?
Cancel any time at /account/cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep full access and your remaining allowance until the end of the period you paid for. Purchases aren't refundable.
Where does my data go?
Your files and history live on your own computer — Windows, Mac or Linux. The AI work can't happen there, though: resume, job-posting and transcript text goes to Anthropic, and live interview audio goes to AssemblyAI. The text is routed through our servers to reach Anthropic — we forward it and record usage such as token counts, model names and operation labels, never the content itself. The audio goes from your computer straight to AssemblyAI and never passes through our servers. None of your content — resumes, postings, transcripts — is stored on our servers unless you turn on Cloud Data Sync. The Privacy Policy spells out exactly what goes where.
Do the 90-day and 6-month passes renew?
No. You pay once, at checkout, and that is the only charge — it never renews, and there's nothing you need to cancel to avoid a second one. When your 90-day or 6-month pass ends, access simply ends. Our payment processor records it as a subscription that is already set to end after its first paid period, so your checkout page or receipt may say "subscription"; it is still billed exactly once.
